Level 1, 2, and 3 PaddleFit Pro Certifications at the Carolina Cup
Want to become a certified SUP instructor? Here is your chance. Stand Up Paddling continues to grow at an accelerated pace and more and more people are finding out that it is a great sport. To accommodate this growth more people are getting into the SUP business and we want to help.
Paddle Fit has embraced the World Paddle Association (WPA) as the authority for water safety, so after successful completion of the Paddle Fit Certification course you will be WPA Class 1 certified as well.
The fitness community has embraced PaddleFit as well. The course has the following fitness accreditations: American Council on Exercise (ACE), National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM) and National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA). So if you are a personal trainer you will be able to earn CEC’s from taking the Paddle Fit Certification.
This year, we will have 3 levels of certifications!
Level 1-2 Thursday, Friday: April 25-26
PaddleFit Level One Certification
PaddleFit Level One is a foundational course with the nucleus being water safety including the laws and regulations surrounding SUP. Level 1 will also cover industry knowledge such as equipment design and proper equipment sizing as well as basic paddling and teaching skills in a group setting. PaddleFit has partnered with the WPA (www.worldpaddleassociation.com) on the Level 1 course so you will receive the educational component for the WPA Class 1.

PaddleFit Level Two Certification
PaddleFit Level Two builds on the foundation of Level 1 with the emphasis now being on coaching and fitness. This course will allow you to work more in-depth on paddling skills as well as develop training programs. Level 2 will cover group dynamics, class management and introduce you to program development. We will discuss the client technique progression and show you the cues and tools to use to facilitate this.

PaddleFit Level Three is all about becoming an advanced to elite level coach. Our focus will be on advanced level PaddleFit teaching techniques and cues. We will cover developing a complete fitness and training program which will include topics like understand and evaluating your client goals and needs, physical assessments, program periodization and program implementation. You will leave this course with the tools you need to empower your clients and get them on the path to a happy and healthy PaddleFit lifestyle!
